********* and his son were great. Had all the equipment necessary, went right to work locating the problems, 2 valves which previous owner had buried under planting areas. ********* had to tone out the wires to find the valves which he did quickly. Did a complete check replacing heads that needed it. Checked the entire system. Before leaving checked with me for completion and my satisfaction. Noticed he worked fast and with expertise!!! I had a problem with my irrigation system. Whenever I had one zone on, another zone that has rotors would also come on. This would waste a tremendous amount of water. Drip zones that need the most time would come on, this other zone would water for the same amount of time. Filiberto diagnosed the problem. He replaced the controller and added a new zone module to split a drip and spray zone into individual zones. Then he and his assistant, Juan, inspected all my system. The raised some heads, lowered others, straightened out a few and cleaned a bunch more. They then set my control box with the correct amount of watering at the correct times. They did excellent work and I highly recommend American Irrigation! (See More)

Only reason I do't rate at (5) stars is because the services delivered were not delivered on the appointed date, the delay was not communicated to me, and I had to call several times to get services ordered and delivered (2) days after originally scheduled. First off, I am not exactly sure of the name of the tech who came out because I couldn't read his name on the bill. The one I chose is who I think it was. I think the techs did a good job inspecting and identifying those sprinkler heads that were leaking or defective. They replaced the defective ones in about two hours and checked the system after finishing to make sure everything was working correctly. I have two concerns. First, one of my chief complaints was that the controller had been acting erratically recently and asked them to make sure there was not a wiring or other problem. Before they left I aske the tech if the controller checked out OK. His answer was, "it's working now" Ok, but it's worked Ok on occasion before but then the next scheduled watering it would stop and show and error code. I had hoped they would test it in some manner too make sure it was going to work in the future. The second surprise was the price of the job. seemed rather high to me for a couple of house of work. I was shown the estimate before they started and agreed to it. However the prices listed for replacing the gear drives rotors or nozzles at $43.00 per unit seemed high to me. The spray heads were listed at $29.00 per unit which seemed a bit more reasonable. In any case I was satisfied with the wok and if the controller continues to operate adequately I have no complaint. Owner Comment: Hi Wayne. We did not find any current issues with the controller. There are several things that can cause an error including programming issues on some controllers. Overall, the work done was satisfactory. However, repairing a damaged electrical control wire should not have cost $150 and seems to be emitting electrical interference with our remote control transmitters for our garage door. We have been unable to use them since the day of the irrigation repairs. Owner comment: Hi Tom I apologize for the inconvenience on the door. Sprinkler Sparkler! Filiberto and his assistant quickly and efficiently addressed the known issues with our system, and were also very proactive in addressing (and fixing) other issues we were unaware of. Since we are new to the house, he also showed us how to use the system, recommended (and set) a good schedule, and then walked each zone with us to explain the repairs/adjustments he had made and to observe spray patterns. He even replaced at no additional charge a couple of heads based on my comments. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and service, and will definitely be calling these guys again. Filiberto and Eduardo were at my home when promised. They did the assessment of the system and gave me two options and let me decide which direction I wanted to go. I felt that Filiberto looked for ways to keep my cost down....then the phenomenal thing was that they worked until the sun went down after 8pm to do the work! That was above and beyond what I expected. Filiberto explained that he wanted to get it done for us because if he left, it would be several weeks (because of the busyness of the season) before they could come back to do it! I have used American Irrigation Repair on several occasions in the past, both at my house and at my church, and in every case found them to be responsive, reasonable, and reliable. On the first occasion, they showed me how to turn on a system in my new house, and did not charge me. On the second occasion, they repaired and added on to a system at my church, and were the low bidders for the work. They did an excellent job on that contract. Most recently, I had turned off the system at my old house because of an underground leak. When the grass turned brown, I called for help, and American Irrigation Repair responded within a few days, even though they were fully booked with work and not taking on new customers. Even though I was not able to be present during the repair work, they repaired the system and checked it out to make sure all was working. "When we began considering having a sprinkler system installed, our neighbor recommended American Irrigation Repair. Thankfully we took his advice. Justin came out and discussed what we had in mind and then offered suggestions based on what we wanted to do. He measured our yard, then wrote up a detailed estimate, complete with plenty of literature on the products (sprinkler heads, controllers, etc...) that they use. By the way, they use multiple companies' products, not just one, so you don't feel like they are a sales person for a particular company. We have ultimately decided to put the project on hold, but will definitely call American Irrigation Repair later this year when we are ready to proceed with a sprinkler system install." (See More)
