Michael showed up a few minutes early, was very courteous and professional, and did a very efficient job of assessing our sprinkler system. There were a couple of heads not working properly that he fixed quickly, and I had a couple of changes that they did, as well. I'd happily recommend Michael and American Irrigation Repair to anyone. Ryan, Mat, and Jaime came out yesterday as scheduled and right on time to check some brown spots and determine what was the cause. They replaced 3 nozzles for better coverage and increased the station times (at no charge). I have been using American Irrigation since we moved to Georgetown (3-1/2 years ago) and will continue to do so. We are Club Members and enjoy the benefits and peace of mind that come along with membership. The guys are always professional, personable, and solution oriented. American Irrigation has done a fantastic job of keeping my irrigation system running properly. I signed up for the membership. The people in the front office proactively call and let you know that you have a FREE tune-up service that will cost absolutely nothing. That's a clever piece of marketing, because the actual tune-up is free. However, as the techs check your system, they are bound to find something to repair that falls outside the bounds of "FREE tune-up". They will make you aware of the problems (using F.U.D. factor) and quote you a price to fix them, which could be several hundred dollars. Then, the customer is left to make a snap, on-the-spot, decision on whether to have the problems fixed or allow them to fester - all the while thinking, "I thought this check-up was free???" I'm only griping, because I fell for the marketing ploy, and didn't see it coming. I could see it with the gym membership offering one month free - that is after you sign a contract for a year or two, but I missed it on this encounter. However, the work that Matthew and his associate did was top-notch and he was knowledgeable, friendly and a great representative of the company. With the increasing heat in Austin, I was anxiously awaiting American Irrigation to service my system in ten days, so when I got a call that Agustin was available earlier, I was happy. Agustin arrived, discussed the needs of the call, and proceeded to repair three broken water lines, two broken heads, and installed a new controller in quick time. Warned him about the snakes first. But he knew where just about every irrigation head was on my property and got all of them popping up now. He was fast but efficient. Very friendly. Set my programming on the unit and changed out the battery that I didn't know existed. Explained what to do in the winter with the valves if I wanted or needed to shut off the water to the irrigation system. Very thorough. He went out of the way to discover a deeply hidden leak below a massive tree root system, efficiently rerouting and repairing the leaking pipe. We tried to use this company for a new sprinkler system and the whole deal failed miserably from the start. They forgot to call us back and when they did they Tracey told us they no longer had time to help us and they were no longer taking new customers. If i could give them zero stars i would and this is the first non 5 star review I have ever left but they deserved it, Grrrr.
