Great experience. Scheduled the first service on my home irrigation in many years. I walked the property with Rob and showed him a few leaky sprinkler heads I knew about. He replaced those, tested the whole system, replaced a couple more heads that were also leaking. I know just enough about sprinkler systems to be dangerous, and could tell Rob knew his stuff. The leak was a little hard to find as were a couple of sprinkler heads that had gotten covered with roots but he and his helper were persistent and got all of ir repaired. I'm currently having American Irrigation do sprinkler inspections biannually, but am considering reducing that to once a year, perhaps every March/April or so. 2X/year seems overkill when I don't even use my sprinklers during the late fall and winter months. After calling two other irrigation services who never showed up when scheduled I called American Irrigation Repair, LCC. They were on time and very professional. The two irrigation specialist knew their jobs well. The costs and job was explained in detail before they began the repair process. I was very happy with their service. Also, and of note, I had a sprinkler water leak. I lost a lot of water waiting a couple of days for those other two companies to show up. However, when I called American Irrigation Repair the phone receptionist actually explained to me how to turn off the water from the yard while I waiting for the repair technicians. Review In the past I have had no problem. This time, the inspector coming out didn't even get off his phone call while handing me an estimate for nearly $500. Needless to say, I didn't have him do everything on the list and will be calling for a second opinion. Justin and crew are amazing! I was worried about my foundation, trees, and yard with all the dry, drought-ridden weather we've been having, and I wanted an irrigation system installed. Justin was quick to come out and give me an estimate with multiple options to help me decide on yard coverage, price, and equipment. The crew arrived on time. I loved working with Anna and Juan at American Irrigation Repair. We had a crazy problem where 3 of our zones wouldn't work unless we ran a jumper between the front and back yards. We called out a competitor and they spend 3 hours and charged me $80, but couldn't fix the problem. They said, "You need to take this problem to someone else" and when I asked who, they recommended American Irrigation Repair. They were busy and thus, it took awhile to get on the schedule, but it was worth the wait. Whey met me at my house and within 3 hours, they had located all my valves, isolated the issue and had everything back up and running with a very reasonable charge. During May of 2015, I decided to sell my house in After consulting with my realtor, she suggested I fill in the small, leaking pool in my backyard because a yard would be better suited for families searching for homes. I agreed and began the demolition and landscaping project. Because I wanted to get the house on the market quickly, I scheduled an appointment for American Irrigation Repair to fix the damage done by this project shortly after the demolition company was scheduled to be finished. Then the rain started. The project was half way finished when it began to rain for three weeks in a row. It was one of the wettest months in Austin's history. Every time I asked the demolition team when they would be finished, they would move the time line because of the rain. So, I would have to move my appointment with American Irrigation Repair as well. I think in total, I reschedule my appoint 6 times. Everytime I rescheduled the appointment, the receptionists were nice, polite and understanding about my problems. They tried to fit me in to their schedule everytime my project got delayed further. Once the rain stopped and the demolotion crew was able to finish, I called American Irrigation to try to set a final appointment. Eventhough they were slammed with work because the poor weather hurt their schedule, they fit me in as soon as they could because they knew my home sale was pending. Because they were able to fit me in, I was able to complete the landscaping and install the new backyard sod a few days prior to my closing date. If they had not fit me in so quickly, I would have faced numerous issues at closing. American Irrigation Repair fixed numerous broken pipes and sprinkler heads caused by the heavy demolition equipment moving in my backyard. Also, they laid new pipes and created a new zone to cover the area were the pool had previously been. While my backyard was small, I thought they charged me an extremely fair price for all the work they did. Also their staff came out to my house on the weekend just to try to finish my project as fast as possible because of my situation. I couldn't be more happy with their service and their staff. Jim takes time to explain all repairs or any problems that he sees and sometimes will give us different options to fix to a problem. They are punctual which is a BIG deal for me. After 9 years of neglecting my sprinkler system I decided it needed a makeover. I did some research online and ended up calling American Irrigation Repair LLC. I was sadly informed that they were on a waiting list and that it would be a couple weeks before they would be able to call and schedule me. I went ahead and gave them my number not really thinking I would get a call but sure enough they called me and we set something up. I have 6 zones in my yard. Front yard was looking good (kept it nice for the neighborhood) Only issues were one zone that I had to turn on manually as it wouldn't turn on from box and ground shift causing some heads to not cover what they should. I tried unsuccessfully to fix the non responding zone (installed new valve, checked wires,etc...) Back yard was a nightmare. Leaving my 3 boxers out for the night with the sprinklers set....well you can imagine. The dogs had a blast but he sprinkler heads didn't fair so well. So I knew going into this makeover that it wouldn't be cheap. Juan showed up after getting a bit lost but they did call and notify me. He diagnosed my system in 20 minutes and came back with a bill of $521. This was for 7 new spray heads, 3 rotor heads, and 1 new valve. I ok'd the work and also let him know that I had to leave before he would finish. I was a bit worried he wouldn't be able to find the issue with the one zone not working from the box as he stated it might be a wire problem but he ensured me he had a tool to figure it out if needed. I left for my appointment (golf league) and returned later that evening to a well tuned remade system. Juan had replaced all the sprinkler heads, installed new valve, fixed the zone not working from box (not sure root cause but that's ok) and re-positioned all the heads that had migrated due to ground shift. Forgot to mention Juan also reprogrammed by box and showed me how to use it again (like I said I neglected it). Needless to say it's been a couple weeks and my lawn if looking amazing, green green green! I would highly recommend this company. If they still have a waiting list get on it and wait. Called American Irrigation Repair to request service to fix a drip system leak and check the sprinkler system in total. Firm was professional in setting the appointment and provided a 2 hour window for arrival with a call to be made when on the way. Arrived on time and repaired a leak which required a creative solution since the leak was in the root system of a large oak tree.
