On Monday I discovered that our landscape crew had run over and broken off one of our irrigation heads and if we didn't get it repaired before Thursday we wouldn't be able to irrigate on our designated day mandated by Georgetown Utilities. I immediately called Kyrsten and told her the problem. She moved things around and scheduled our Tech, Ryan, to come out on Wednesday afternoon. He showed up an hour early and went right to work. He replaced the broken head on zone 4 and in addition he re-adjusted 2 other heads to optimize zone 10 coverage and fixed an emitter hose that had slipped off and was wasting water. To fix the emitter he had to belly crawl under a rose hedge to reconnect the hose. He had all this done in less than 30 minutes! With this kind of response and service I wouldn't consider using another service company to handle our irrigation needs! Another great experience with American Irrigation's team of Krysten and Ryan. Matthew was prompt and thorough. He replaced the cover of a sprinkler station as part of my agreement with Americn Irrigation Repair. He also helped me understand how to program my controller correctly, as I had made a costly mistake in how I reprogrammed it.

I thought i had routine check up scheduled because my system seemed to be working fine with maybe a couple of hot spots that needed tweaking. I have not been having any trouble scheduling or testing my system but the ‘manual’ button broke on my tech and apparently this required the whole new control box which cost me $400. It's my fault for not examining my options more, but I was hoping for a bigger break from the company since I have not been having trouble with the button before. In hindsight, I probably could live without a ‘manual’ button for $400.
The guys did a decent job in a timely fashion. The new control box seems a little better but some of the displays our microscopically small. I literally had to get a magnifying glass to see the days of the week and the program that I was on. So I give this a mixed review here. Cecillio S. 08/28/19 |

Michael and partner did a very good job. They were next door and came over and repaired a break in our line. Then they returned for a full inspection in a couple weeks and found and fixed some minor problems. They were prompt and very nice. Now they will inspect our lines twice per year. The work done appears to be done well but there are several issues:
* Sprinkler head replacements and installations were highly overpriced. Less than 2 hours work cost just under $600
* I had fresh sod laid prior to the sprinkler system getting maintenance so it needed more watering and days watered to allow it to take hold. The system was reset to 2 days watering without my knowledge. Due to less watering before I discovered the problem, my new grass was overstressed and wilted.
* A sticker with watering zones and recommend watering times was applied over the controller instructions inside the controller box. This sticker covered almost the entire instruction sheet. The sticker did not peal off cleanly, there by leaving the instructions a mess and sticker only partially readable for future use.

We knew we had one or two problems with our irrigation system which required immediate action. Agustin and Santos performed a thorough Tune-Up for us which identified a number of issues of which we were unaware. I recently scheduled my August club tuneup with Krysten at American Irrigation. My Service Tech Ryan came out, ahead of schedule, and after checking in with me, went right to work. He checked each of my 13 zones, making adjustments where needed including spray heads, spray rotors, emitters, and tree bubblers. In addition, each zone timer was evaluated to address the extreme dry heat that we are experiencing and to ensure proper water coverage for every area. All in all another great experience in scheduling and service by the A.I. team of Krysten and Ryan!! Would not consider using anyone else after 4-1/2 years of using American Irrigation.
