I highly recommend the Reiner Group. Peter, the sales associate, was great to work with. He was professional and made me feel like he was recommending what he would put in his own home. The rest of the staff from measuring and install were great as well. Clean and felt safe with them in my home during COVID. Reiner took care of all of the permits, it was a very easy process. My experience with the Reiner Group has been stellar and exemplary. From Miguel, the initial technician who responded quickly with my air conditioning unit failed in 95 degree weather to Mr. Peter Ten Kate, the technical engineer who was consulted to assess what my home needed to remain cool and comfortable.
I have known Peter (Mr. Ten Kate) since 2009, when part of the new heating and cooling system needed to be installed. He has not changed in his professionalism, affability and trustworthiness. In these times of con artists and duplicity, Peter is a breath of fresh air with his straight-forward, knowledgeable approach and explanations of the problem.
I would highly recommend without reservation, Mr. Ten Kate, as well as the other team members at Reiner Group for all of your heating and air conditioning needs. (See More)

My furnace was found dead on Monday and Peter came home for consultation and estimation on the same day. We are very pleased to have a new furnace and an AC unit placed up and running by Friday evening. The system has been working quiet and perfectly since the installation. My wife and I returned from vacation only to discover that our AC unit had died in the middle of a great wave. PSE&G was unable to help and with an infant at home, we were in desperate need to get this fixed ASAP. Peter was over our house within 2hrs to get us an estimate on a new unit. This a rating for out recent experience with Peter Ten Kate, Technical Engineer with Reiner Group in Fair Lawn, NJ. Our central air conditioning system failed. We received several recommendations for Reiner HVAC and Peter Ten Kate in particular. He was personable, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time and go over any questions we had. He reviewed our entire system, including the compressor, air handler and duct-work and matched our needs with the appropriate system. Reiner just completed the installation of a new furnace and a/c units at my home. I was greatly satisfied with their work from the expert sales rep Pete Ten Kate who worked with me to select the most appropriate furnace and a/c units for my home to their installation and maintenance guys. I have been using Reiner for over 20 years and have found them to be quickly response to any maintenance needs as well as for the purchase of new equipment when needed. My family has had multiple HVAC installations by Reiner, Fair lawn.
From start to finish, they are very easy to work with and very professional.
Pete Tenkate is a great salesman and visited the jobs on the first day of installation.
Marvin, David & electrician Ken were some of the most conscientious workers I've met
Being an electrical contractor my entire life, I know a great worker.
The installation was done perfectly and the cleanup was great.
This company might be higher in price but well worth every penny.
Thanks so much for the professional way our jobs were done.

Reiner has been my "go to" vendor for all of my heating, air conditioning and generator needs for more than 20 years. For many of those years, Pete T. has been my sales rep with the company. Pete and his colleagues are always "there" when you need them. Fast, professional, courteous and they have always stood behind the work they perform.
Just had the need to install a new central A/C system and as always, the expectations were set high; and, as usual, their performance exceeded the expectations. Pete as always, presents a professional with deep knowledge, understanding and experience coupled with a friendly and helpful attitude.. Peter T. was knowledgeable, honest, fair, professional, and responsive to any and all of our questions when discussing the install of our new central air system. His quote was thorough and prompt, and he has been in touch regularly since the install to follow through. He even came to the house at the start of job to be sure the work was started appropriately. The technicians who did our install were excellent: prompt, professional, courteous, neat, and efficient but attentive to detail. All work was completed to spec, on budget, and on time.
