The executive, Roy came on time and did a detailed inspection. Advised each aspect of air conditioner, explained what is required for our home. This a rating for out recent experience with Peter Ten Kate, Technical Engineer with Reiner Group in Fair Lawn, NJ. Our central air conditioning system failed. We received several recommendations for Reiner HVAC and Peter Ten Kate in particular. He was personable, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time and go over any questions we had. He reviewed our entire system, including the compressor, air handler and duct-work and matched our needs with the appropriate system. The crew that installed the boiler were Great. Ken the engineer explained to me in detail the best size and model to heat my house.The crew Nick, John and Ucha arrive on site on time and were professional in completing the installation. The boiler room was left clean and neat .The old boiler and replaced piping were taken off site. We recently had Reiner install a split system AC/Heating system in our 99 year old home. What a pleasure to deal with this company. Ken Lake assessed our needs and provided multiple options. My wife suffers from tinnitus and noise is a problem for her. He helped up choose the most quiet and efficient unit. Living in an older home, space that the system would take up was a major concern as well. Ken helped us work through all the issues and helped make the process worry free. Mario and Mike were the main mechanical technicians on the job. They were respectful of our property, layed down drop cloths everywhere they worked and were extremely professional. I will say the same for the electricians. They went above and beyond our expectations and payed attention to even the smallest details. When they left, our house was as clean as before they started. I can not tell you how happy we are that we chose the Reiner Group to do this work. If you use them I am certain that you will not be disappointed in the least. I love guys that know what they’re doing, and these guys did. Put in my ductless a/c unit in my bedroom. Did it in half the time they said it would take. Cool guys, super neat and no issues. We reached out to Reiner when my mom's AC broke in early June. She's 86 years old and we needed a company that understood the issues facing seniors and the urgency of getting a new system installed before the summer heat wave hot.
Our sales person Ken was outstanding - compassionate, concerned and easy to work with. He recommended a system that fit my mom's needs at a reasonable price with no hard sell or upsell. He also worked to get us a early installation date knowing how f=difficult it would be for a senior to have no AC in the middle of summer's heat wave.
The installation crew, led by Anthony, did a fantastic job. They were polite. professional, efficient and neat! The arrived 15 minutes early, covered the carpets and floors with mats to keep everything clean and went right to work. The whole job was done by the end of the day, with the new system working perfectly. They even took the time to twice show my mom how to use the new digital thermometer, knowing that technology isn't her strongest point!

I highly recommend Reiner for Home Central air installation, the Technical Engineer/Sales consultant (Kenneth Lake) I dealt with was very knowledgeable and helpful and quickly returned all of my calls/emails. I have been using Reiner for over 20 years and have found them to be quickly response to any maintenance needs as well as for the purchase of new equipment when needed. Thanks again to those of you who had recommended companies several weeks ago. (some were plumbers and only installed boilers, not furnaces).
After getting a few quotes and speaking with several salespersons, I decided to go with Reiner Group. They used to be in Norwood, but are now located in Fairlawn.
My old unit was a high-efficiency (92%) unit that was installed in 1995 and there were indications that it was on its last legs. I wanted to be proactive so that I did not have a heating emergency and had to settle on whatever equipment was available. 24 years later, the high-efficiency units are now up to 98.7% efficient and I decided to stay with one since I already had the intake and exhaust pipes on the side of my house (efficient units do not vent out the chimney). Roy Hulsebos from Reiner came to my house, carefully evaluated what I needed and made his recommendations later that day.
What impressed me most about Reiner Group was the care that was taken to make sure the job was done correctly as well as safely. Several safety issues were corrected at no additional cost to me - one of them involved installing a water pump to move the condensate water which previously could have frozen in the winter and caused a carbon monoxide danger. The hole where the water used to come out was sealed to prevent critters from getting into the house.
In addition, I had had a new outside A/C compressor installed by another company about 4 years ago. As they pressure checked the system they found a leak in the outside condenser coil. Upon checking the model and serial number they realized that the condenser coil was still under warranty and they were able to get the part for free with labor included. No charge to me.

If you're looking for a trustworthy company with friendly and professional service look no further ! Rafael E. came to take a look at our heating system and diagnose the problem. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly knew what the problem was and called us shortly thereafter to let us know the part we needed was in stock. I had some additional questions about the job and Rob the field supervisor called me to answer all my questions and even stopped by to double check a few of my concerns. We scheduled installation right away and Rafael came back to do the work. He was in and out fast and explained to me everything he did. We called Reiner in the morning and they dispatched Rafael E. the technician to stop by. He diagnosed the issue immediately (inducer housing unit leaking). Reiner charges by the hour so I was very appreciative how prompt and efficient Rafael was. He put in an order for the part and the Parts department contacted me in the afternoon confirming the part was ordered and the service department would contact me when the part arrives. Reiner contacted me the next morning and said the part was in and Rafael would be coming back to installing the part. Rafael showed up and again was very efficient and installed the new part.
