My service professional, Gazaway D., was very courteous and professional. He performed a video mapping of our home's underground drain field for the roof downspouts and yard catch basins. He arrived early for our appointment and quickly determined the type of work that we needed done. He kept us fully informed of each step in the process. He identified the terminus and any problems for all of the drain lines leading away from our house. He recommended relocation of a couple of the drain lines that terminated above our septic drain field. After his work, we now feel comfortable that all of our exterior drains are in proper working condition. (See More)

I recently had a clogged sewer line and of course it happened on New Years day! I first called my usual plumber but he was out of time. After researching some other companies online called Roto-Rooter. My call was answered by Pam and she assured me she could have someone out within a few hours. Later she followed up to let me know Derek was on his way. When he arrived he went right to work assessing the situation. He did an excellent job of getting the line cleaned and told me their work was guaranteed for thirty days. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and all around friendly and nice guy. It has been a few days and the line remains open. I would not hesitate to use them again especially if Derek was available to make whatever repair I might need. (See More)

We felt very fortunate to have a tech come out to our home on a weekend. Apparently, no appliance techs work on weekends in Asheville.
After being charged $300 for draining our dishwasher, we felt a little less fortunate. Sadly, the agony was only beginning .A few days later, after having run the dishwasher twice, It flooded out again. This time however it flooded the entire kitchen floor, possibly damaging the wooden floor structure in the garage ceiling below.So not only had they not fixed our problem, they had actually made the problem worse! They sent the same tech to our home this morning. He, a plumber, explained to us that "what we really needed was an appliance tech." We'll, being three hundred dollars into this misrepresentation, suffice it to say that we are VERY dissatisfied with their service.
Hey Roto-Rooter! If you don't have appliance techs working on your staff, then don't send plumbers to fix peoples appliances. It just going to give you a lot more 1-star reviews. Your lack of professionalism is truly UNBELIEVABLE! (See More)

They placed erosion mat down, since heavy rain was on the way. When they left, there was nothing for us to clean up or dispose of. We were well pleased and would highly recommend Roto Rooter. Most plumbers we have contacted in the past don't want to work on plumbing when it's over 65 to 70 years old. Roto Rooter just dove in to the repairs, with friendly continuance. These guys were so awesome! I have had flooding under my house for a couple of months and finally figured out the problem. So I called Roto-Rooter to see if they could unclog the drain in my yard that goes all the way under the neighbor's yard. They came and were persistent and continue to work on it for quite a while and finally were able to get it unplugged and now the water in my yard and under my house is finally finally finally draining. I appreciated their professional and courteous Manner. And I especially appreciated the fact that they seemed willing to do whatever it takes to get the drain unclogged if possible. They truly were great and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a clogged drain pipe. They were extremely knowledgeable and even did some digging and rearranging to get the great back together. Incredible. This company and the people who work for it are amazing. Called with a huge plumbing leak....waterfall over the header of the stairwell. Although Derek had to come from two hours away, he was knocking on my door, on a Sunday morning, Mother's Day, within two hours of my initial phone call. He worked like a Trojan all day, not even taking a lunch break. Was incredibly pleasant, conscientious, and skilled. Fixed the pipe which was leaking, cleaned up completely behind himself, with cloths and spray cleaner on the bath fixtures and floors, even, and I will never call any other plumbing service, as long as this company is willing to make the trek to my place. Although they're more expensive by the hour than the local plumbers, I think it would have taken a local guy several days to do what Derek did in one, and maybe wouldn't have even fixed the problem, so, in the end, it's really cheaper, and so much more of a pleasant experience to have Roto Rooter come...second time I've hired them, and the previous experience was just a positive. I called because I had a completely stopped up gutter drain. The crew that came to resolve my problem were very professional and went right to work. It took over an hour to open the 100 feet of gutter drain pipe since they had to use a high pressure jet because the traditional roto rooter tool would have torn up the underground corrugated pipe. Great work and my only complaint is that the appointment was for mid morning and due to problems on other jobs, they didn't arrive until mid afternoon. Derek G. Did good work snaking our drain. We diagnosed the problem based on where the backup was going , we opened the septic tank lid and they judged that it would be safe to do it from the inside through the main drain that they installed a new clean out port in because the old one was only 3" in diameter and kind of gerry rigged on the drain. They were thorough, fast and cleaned up after themselves and were good at explaining what they were doing and what to look out for in the future. (See More)
