Rachel has an incredibly welcoming and helpful demeanor; a great first impression of the local Roto-Rooter. I had a blocked drain the one that comes out of the house and leds about 300 feet to the city sewer drain. It had not been cleaned out in about 25 years maybe more. I called one company they came out with there snake a very large one and had enough sections to run a half mile if needed, butt they could only go about 80 feet and the slug in the pipe stopped it cold in its track. they suggested Roto-Rooter. I called and they came out that day and used there Jetter and slowly it started working after 200 feet they still could not clear the blockage they then switched the head on the Jetter to what is called a warthog head and was able to run it the full 300 feet and was able to clear the line. The workmen where very professional. Bottom line is they had the right tools and know how to get the job done right. (See More)

Eric was clear about what needed to be done to repair our sewer pipe and did the work efficiently and in a reasonable time. I contacted Roto Rooter at 1 pm and the problem was solved by 7:30 that evening. I would recommend the company again for this type of work. (See More)

I had an issue with my plumbing. I contacted Roto-Rooter, easily made an appointment for service. I was contacted by phone and e-mail 1/2 hour before expected arrival and notified who the service tech would be doing the work. Mr. Parkhurst arrived on time, listened to my issues, and proceeded to verify the issue, give me an estimated cost for the work, and on my approval commenced repairs. The work was completed in a very satisfactory manner and there were no surprises as to the cost of repair and cleanup. I would easily recommend Roto-Rooter for plumbing repair issues. (See More)

He did a professional job. My only complaint is that I believe he could have advised me to try to run water through the clogged drain with my own hose. It cost me over $600.00 for him to flush out the drain, and I did not even think that I might have tried to do it myself, first - and then only pay a service charge. $600 is a lot for someone living on a pension. Just had Eric come by to finish checking on the condition of the underground drains using a snake with a camera. Thanks to him we now know the source, as well as the location of the leak mentioned below. Eric was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We continue to be impressed by Roto-Rooter. The company appears to have a very deep bench!
Adam helped us find a leak in a crawl space which caused the wood floor in our den to buckle. He was on time, pleasant and knowledgeable. Furthermore, he was willing to come by after 6pm on two occasions simply because he had said you would come to the house on those days. That is service! We recommend him unreservedly! (See More)

We recently moved to Asheville into a new home and the hot water heater was not working when we moved in. I called Roto Rooter and they sent someone out the very next day. Everyone we worked with was very kind and thoughtful. The hot water heater needed a part that they didn't have so they said they would order it and return as soon as it arrived (a few days or so). So 1-2 weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. I eventually called about 3 weeks after the first visit and it turns out the part was (mistakenly) never ordered. So it was finally ordered then. But we still didn't hear anything for almost another 2 weeks! To give an idea of the timeline - our initial call was on June 27th, initial visit on June 28th - and the part was not installed until August 7th. And we still paid ~180 for the first visit and ~280 for the second visit. Again, everyone at Roto Rooter that we worked with including the people who came out to our house were all very kind and easy to work with so I am not upset about our interactions - but I am REALLY frustrated that it took over a month for a simple part to be fixed and it felt like the only reason it happened is because I kept calling them and asking them for updates. Additionally, when they did send someone out to replace the piece, they called me and asked if they could send out a technician (I was in the middle of work so asked them to call my husband and ask if was home and available). Well they called my husband, but told them they had already sent a technician who would be there in 15 minutes - which isn't what I discussed with them on the phone. My husband had to cancel other plans to get back to the house. Again, really nice people overall - but the whole experience was super frustrating and the fact that it look ~6 weeks for this to get done and we still paid almost $ 500 bucks - well it's beyond me! Called for service at 8:00 AM Saturday morning, explained the problem had been ongoing for a week, they scheduled the appointment for same day and an hour and a half later the technician was in the driveway. It was an hour commute. He identified the problem and had it corrected in about an hour. Wore booties when he came into the house, cleaned everything up when he was done, very outgoing and helpful.
