Contacted Asheville RR on Tuesday because raw sewage was backing out of my basemen washing machine drain when we flushed toilets upstairs.
The office said they would try to get a tech to come out the next day Wednesday but definitely on Thursday. No show on Wednesday but a message from Rachel reminding me to expect a tech the next day, Thursday. I stayed in the house all day waiting . At 4:42 PM I texted that I would need to leave the house by 6PM. Got a text back that they could not guaranty getting to me before 6PM and would Friday morning be OK. I texted back "First thing Friday". Today, Friday, at 12:35 I texted "It is now Friday afternoon!???" At 2:40 PM I got a message "We are working to get a technician to you...A dispatcher will call you soon". It is now 8:30 Friday evening and we are looking at a long weekend sweeping raw sewage out our basement door. (See More)

I had a blocked drain the one that comes out of the house and leds about 300 feet to the city sewer drain. It had not been cleaned out in about 25 years maybe more. I called one company they came out with there snake a very large one and had enough sections to run a half mile if needed, butt they could only go about 80 feet and the slug in the pipe stopped it cold in its track. they suggested Roto-Rooter. I called and they came out that day and used there Jetter and slowly it started working after 200 feet they still could not clear the blockage they then switched the head on the Jetter to what is called a warthog head and was able to run it the full 300 feet and was able to clear the line. The workmen where very professional. Bottom line is they had the right tools and know how to get the job done right. (See More)

The Hendersonville NC Branch is easy to talk to - a real live person- and they respond quickly. On the phone, Rachel was courteous, efficient, and did exactly what she said. When Ernest arrived ( I wasn't at home yet), my wife said he was pleasant and she felt comfortable allowing him inside. He went straight to work. I arrived 10-15 minutes later and found Ernest hard at his task in the basement, after lugging his very heavy super augur machine down our steep hill to access the basement. I had worried on my way home about 1 person maneuvering that heavy machine by himself. Impressive! Ernest allowed me to observe and ask questions (I tried to not get in his way) as he conquered the blockage and successfully restored everything to proper operation. Cudos to Ernest Martinez, and to Hendersonville Roto Rooter. Better treat this guy well, as he is an excellent representative and asset for your company. Thanks again (See More)

I called early morn and by noon Ernest was on my door step. He put on PPE before coming in and than we studied the problem. Next thing, he was set up and working at clearing a very clogged drain.The entire time he was explaining his job and what to expect. Eric was clear about what needed to be done to repair our sewer pipe and did the work efficiently and in a reasonable time. I contacted Roto Rooter at 1 pm and the problem was solved by 7:30 that evening. I would recommend the company again for this type of work. (See More)

The team came out to fix a clog in the kitchen that could not be "broken" through with a plunger. It had been out of commission for several days, affecting any kitchen work. The two gentlemen were professional and immediately put me at ease when they said they knew exactly what the problem was - and they did. Minutes later, it was cleared and they cleaned up the work area and were on their way. What a relief! I will definitely call Roto-Rooter if I ever need this type of service again. (See More)

I have used roto rooter a few times, both times being reasonably priced well under $200, not sure what changed but I can honestly say after this last time i will use them, I was charged well over $300 for maybe an hour of work, some of which i did. they did clear my line in short order and the Tech was nice enough but i feel i was over charged. The whole office and staff were great. They made me feel like they knew me and what I was going through. The field Supervisor was great too. Thought he was not as good as Derek who fixed everything that needed doing. Including the pressure switch which he had to search for, but he also talked me down from the porch as I was hitting my last nerve with this house. Sunday morning 6:15 am (Dec.17) with 33 quests coming around 11am, had plumbing problem at house. Called local number as on radio 682-9006 for Roto-Rooter, said someone would call me shortly. Within 5 minutes, had call from Tyler Stevenson- said he could be to our home within 30 minutes or so. Came promptly- courteous, and professional- had equipment and knowledge to make repairs within about an hour. Could not be happier or more pleased with service by Tyler and Roto-Rooter. Thank You.! Eric was professional and answered any questions I had. What I have a complaint about is their communication as to who and when representatives of their company are coming out. I informed them that I wanted to be notified when someone would be at my 80 year old mothers house. I wasn't called for the first visit and then 2 days after the work was completed another representative showed up at her door...we were not told anyone else would be coming. This confused her as she thought they were the insurance adjuster or the restoration company and tried to convince my brother and I that all plans for fixing the water damage had been taken care of. This was obviously not the case as this second rep was only there to check the plumbing work of the first rep. I had to investigate to find out who had actually come to my mother's house. Please consider the elderly and know that there are people looking out for them if you would only follow instructions given to you. (See More)

being new to the area I called another company and was told they couldn't come out to look at my clogged kitchen drain for over a week. I then called Roto-Rooter and they said we can get to you today, it was already 3pm, I wasn't expecting them to come out that quick. I received a call about 20 minutes later saying someone was on there way and would arrive in about 30 minutes. so within an hour of calling they were there. Derek came in was friendly and professional and had the drain fixed in an hour. A little pricey but still an overall great experience. (See More)
