We felt very fortunate to have a tech come out to our home on a weekend. Apparently, no appliance techs work on weekends in Asheville.
After being charged $300 for draining our dishwasher, we felt a little less fortunate. Sadly, the agony was only beginning .A few days later, after having run the dishwasher twice, It flooded out again. This time however it flooded the entire kitchen floor, possibly damaging the wooden floor structure in the garage ceiling below.So not only had they not fixed our problem, they had actually made the problem worse! They sent the same tech to our home this morning. He, a plumber, explained to us that "what we really needed was an appliance tech." We'll, being three hundred dollars into this misrepresentation, suffice it to say that we are VERY dissatisfied with their service.
Hey Roto-Rooter! If you don't have appliance techs working on your staff, then don't send plumbers to fix peoples appliances. It just going to give you a lot more 1-star reviews. Your lack of professionalism is truly UNBELIEVABLE! Gazaway D. 12/26/19 |

The whole office and staff were great. They made me feel like they knew me and what I was going through. The field Supervisor was great too. Thought he was not as good as Derek who fixed everything that needed doing. Including the pressure switch which he had to search for, but he also talked me down from the porch as I was hitting my last nerve with this house. We highly recommend RotoRooter. We called them at 5:15AM with a pouring leak in our water heater. They were there by 6:45, and our water heater was fixed by about 930am. They were quick, professional, and reasonable. There were a lot of parts that had to be replaced due to being out of code, and those were fixed as well. We will definitely use them again! Called for an estimate and evaluation. A. Klingsheim (great Viking beard) and D. Watkins came out within 2 hours. They diagnosed the problem and using camera were able to evaluate existing drain.
They prepared an estimate on the spot and emailed to me.

I had an issue with my plumbing. I contacted Roto-Rooter, easily made an appointment for service. I was contacted by phone and e-mail 1/2 hour before expected arrival and notified who the service tech would be doing the work. Mr. Parkhurst arrived on time, listened to my issues, and proceeded to verify the issue, give me an estimated cost for the work, and on my approval commenced repairs. The work was completed in a very satisfactory manner and there were no surprises as to the cost of repair and cleanup. I would easily recommend Roto-Rooter for plumbing repair issues. He did a professional job. My only complaint is that I believe he could have advised me to try to run water through the clogged drain with my own hose. It cost me over $600.00 for him to flush out the drain, and I did not even think that I might have tried to do it myself, first - and then only pay a service charge. $600 is a lot for someone living on a pension.
