Our kitchen sinks stopped draining all of a sudden. We have a plumber that we normally use, and he said he didn't have the equipment to fix this problem and for us to call Roto-Rooter. I am so glad we did! You all were able to get Da'Shan out to us the same day, and within a short while our drains were running again. Da'Shan and his co-worker (I am so sorry, I forgot his name) were both professional but friendly, obviously knowledgeable about their work, and efficient. I own a pottery studio in Weaverville, and needed someone with short notice to redo the seal on our toilet. They came out the day we were scheduled for and it was all fixed in half an hour. Neat, clean, professional. Seemed much easier to schedule than the plumbing service I have used at my home in the past. I will definitely be calling Roto-Rooter again for my plumbing needs. I have called Roto-Rooter of Asheville twice now, once in October of 2015, and the second time on February7, 2018. On both occasions the service tech was on scene early the next morning, and the work was completed promptly and efficiently. The tech, James, on both calls, was very polite and obviously very well trained. He explained the process clearly, and offered helpful suggestions to avoid or minimize problems in the future. I broke a PVC valve while changing a water filter. Roto Rooter was the only agency that promptly responded to my call on Sunday. The tech was proficient, but his sawzall didn't work, so I let him borrow mine to cut off a cleanout plug that couldn't be removed any other way, and then he didn't have the rubber cap to place back on the pipe. I had a problem with a slow flushing toilet. I called Roto-Rooter and set an appointment up. Tyler was the service representative who arrived at the house. He was prompt and on time. My technician walked through the kitchen with dirty booties, was taking a personal call once when I went down to check in, bumped a very large and heavy machine down and then up my basement stairs (I feared for my stairs) and stayed until nearly 8pm. He didn't leave until I said I had to leave in 30 min and his van was blocking me car. I began wondering if he would stay all night. This evaluation is for the technician. All our drains clogged at same time which we knew signified a full septic tank, after several attempts to call other local services only to get no answer, or a full answering machine or being told they could get to us in two to three weeks, I called Roto-Rotor who scheduled an appointment for the next day. The service we received was first rate, friendly and very thorough. Everything was explained well and all of our questions were answered. These guys were awesome, worked two hours in the rain without a complaint. Definitely will recommend these guys to anyone, you cannot beat the fast friendly service! James Arrowood was dispatched to my complaint of sewage in the yard. He worked long and hard over two hour in the cold weather to try to resolve the problem that I caused. After explaining that further exam with a camera would be needed to see if line had collapsed we are to call to schedule more thorough evaluation of the problem. He explained that the pipe would need to be jetted out and evaluated. He was very courteous and we will be happy for him to return with the required equipment to complete the work. Thank you.
