Daniel Watkins of the Asheville office, on July 12, in a very professional manner discussed with me my septic system problems and analyzed reasons for the back-up in my older septic system into my home's lower level toilets and tubs. Then, in a prompt, efficient and knowledgeable fashion he used roto-rooter's 4000 psi hose equipment to blow out my septic tank's D-box and stoppage in the drainage field lines. He used 100" of hose line to blow out one of the drainage field lines--and a lesser footage on a 2d line- and the septic system is now fully operational, enabling full use of the toilets, washing machine, tubs, etc. I would highly recommend use of Daniel on septic problems. I am completely impressed with the service provided by Chris A and RotoRooter. Our main water pipe into the house shattered today, for no apparent reason. When I called Roto Rooter in WNC, they assured me a technician would be available today, then called me with regular updates. Chris A. arrived within 4 hours of my initial call. He did an thorough and efficient repair of the broken line, made sure the hot water heater was working and tested our water pressure. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he did for us.
I will definitely use Chris A. and Roto Rooter for any and all plumbing needs in the future.

Had to call these professionals to repair an "unknown" at a rental property. Daniel, the camera guy and repair man, called to tell me what he would be doing; then he called to give me his findings (good news), and this estimate of the time and cost, and the work to be done.
Daniel called back to tell me the repairs were complete and everything was in working order. The service was excellent from beginning to end. You get what you pay for!
It should be worth noting that I had consulted already with a septic company, that turned down the work, and a local plumber who thought the job was more than he was qualified to do.
Suggestion: if you have a plumbing problem that you think may be extensive or complicated, call Roto-Rooter FIRST and save yourself some time and unnecessary expense! Watkins D. 05/30/17 |

Chris responded to a stopped up sewer line on a Sunday at my apartment complex.. He was very prompt in his service and retrieved as wash cloth. However, he accidentally cut the sewer pipe and the next day sewer leaked into an apartment below the leak. Chris returned to correct the issue. Apologized for the incident. Very nice. However, the operator on call was not helpful and delayed dispatch of the emergency call. I told her this was an emergency call and raw sewage was running into my apartment. She said "I can't pull someone off a job. You'll have to wait until someone is available." This response was unacceptable. It took over 3 hours for someone to call back. Chris was very responsive and corrected the issue. However, this operator should be fired. This created a health hazard and damage to my tenant's apartment. Chris A. 12/14/16 |
